Current Hillside Elementary School Principal Laura Sullivan is expected to be named the interim Director of Special Education for the Hastings-on-Hudson School District, Superintendent Dr. Roy Montesano announced Monday. Hastings Police Chief: Company Lacked Local Permit in Fatal Tank Explosion

Three D Industrial Maintenance of Hawthorne, the company that was excavating an old fuel tank last week that exploded and killed two workers, lacked the proper local permit to be doing such work in Hastings-on-Hudson, according to Police Chief Anthony Visalli. Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and the Rivertowns Seeing Dividends from 'Pothole Killer'

The Villages of Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Elmsford, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown are having their potholes filled with a device nicknamed the "Pothole Killer," thanks to a joint venture of the Greenburgh Village Officials Committee.
