The Hastings-on-Hudson School District has named Laurie Bauer as its Interim Director of Special Education, replacing Deborah Augarten, School Superintendent Roy Montesano announced. Bauer holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from Northern Michigan University and "comes to Hastings with 18 years of experience as a special education administrator and over 15 years of classroom experience, teaching second, third, and special education grades."
