Dilla , but not many know about Peter Dougherty, who died today at age 59 from a heart attack in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. He was the behind-the-scenes figure who created " Yo! MTV Raps " in 1988, a visionary show that brought hip hop into the mainstream.
