Current Hillside Elementary School Principal Laura Sullivan is expected to be named the interim Director of Special Education for the Hastings-on-Hudson School District, Superintendent Dr. Roy Montesano announced Monday. Montesano intends to formally make the recommendation at the next Board of Education meeting on Dec. 8. If approved, Sullivan will replace interim Director Laurie Bauer , who herself replaced Deborah Augarten who took a position with the White Plains School District.
