Kid Noir Productions will be in Hastings-on-Hudson Friday filming a movie titled "Nowhere Ever After," a move that will result in temporary parking restrictions along Main Street and Warburton Avenue. When 12-year-old summer visitor Michael Cavanaugh stepped up to shake the hand of Island Heritage Trust's Garret Aldrich, to thank him for a great time, he was perhaps expressing what many thought as they spent an August afternoon enjoying ice cream with all the toppings, sack races, a water balloon toss, face-painting and other activities. White Plains School District Hires New Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Personnel Services

The White Plains School District has named Deborah Augarten as its new Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Personnel Services, according to an announcement from Augarten's former district Hastings-on-Hudson. Augarten was with the Hastings district for seven years and recently resigned as its Director of Special Education to take the post in White Plains, according to Hastings School Superintendent Roy Montesano.

The Hastings-on-Hudson School District has named Laurie Bauer as its Interim Director of Special Education, replacing Deborah Augarten, School Superintendent Roy Montesano announced.
