She is survived by her husband of nearly 53 years, Julian; her daughters Stephanie and her husband, Mark Rindner, and Jennifer Plaus; her brother, Frederic Brown and his wife, Nancy; and grandchildren, David, Matthew and Nicole. In addition to her late parents, Desmond and Pearl Brown, she was predeceased by her son, Daniel C. Hertz.
