The Burlington Free Press said Ryszard Malarczyk, 51, and his wife Anita Malarczyk, 50, and a friend, Jaroslaw Karczewski, 51, were killed when the semi hit their Cadillac Escalade head-on on U.S. 4 in Killington.

Police ID victims in deadly Killington crash

The deadly crash happened Tuesday afternoon on snow and ice-covered Route 4 when a tractor-trailer jack-knifed and collided with an oncoming SUV. The driver of the SUV, Ryszard Malarczyk, 51, his wife, Anita Malarczyk, 50, both of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, and their friend, Jaroslaw Karczewski, 51, of Poland, were all pronounced dead at the scene.
