A Hastings-on-Hudson couple, Ryszard and Anita Malarczyk, and a friend, Jaroslaw Karczewski were killed Tuesday in an accident on U.S. Route 4 in Killington, Vt., according to the Burlington Free Press,. The victims and three survivors were traveling in a Cadillac Escalade that was hit head-on by a tractor-trailer crossing into oncoming traffic on the steep, icy highway, the Free Press reported.
